it was such a beautiful morning in brooklyn today. nate and i had to take alexa to a preschool interview and we left a little early so that we could take a peaceful morning stroll. i can’t believe that alexa will be four next spring… how is she growing up so fast?
since it was an “interview” i dressed her up a little more proper than her standard glittery princess skirts. she looked like such a little school girl in her navy wool romper (she has an adorable printed button up shirt on too, but she refused to take her favorite jacket off for a photo!) with cable knit tights and mary janes. (i am obsessed with all shoes by the brand see kai run–they are the best!)
i’m pretty thrilled that fall is here… i much prefer a fall wardrobe to any other–believe it or not, i could live in tights… let’s be honest, doesn’t every girl have a love/hate affair with spanx? our mornings are pretty crazy so i make an effort to find easy pieces to add to my wardrobe that are effortless, but stylish and fun. i love this flirty blush colored skirt from club monaco–great for fall, but will transition easily to warmer weather.
alexa looks for flowers and sticks everywhere we go when we are outside… i guess that is pretty typical of toddlers, but i find it pretty charming nonetheless.
