how precious is this photo?! i wasn’t home for this darling moment but nate was lucky enough to be swinging by our place mid afternoon to capture it. i’m guessing this was the wind down pre-naptime and the kids were having a little movie snack session. between tvs, ipads and iphones it seems like kids are seeing at least 20x the amount of video content that we saw when we were young. in our home we do our best to find a balance of letting them enjoy digital devices in moderation and with a balance of physical and mental activity to develop their minds, motor skills and creativity. we definitely don’t succeed at this all the time, but we are trying and hopefully we are doing a good job!
one of my favorite questions to ask parents is–what toys do your kids absolutely love?
